At present, there are various types of pedestrian channel gates on the market, with widely used ones including three roller gates, swing gates, wing gates, and sliding gates. What types of pedestrian barriers are commonly used in office buildings, and what are the advantages and disadvantages of different pedestrian barriers?
1、 Three roller gate
A three roll gate is composed of a chassis and three gate poles, with a space between the poles to accommodate one person. It is very suitable for scenarios where one-way or two-way control of pedestrian flow is required. Therefore, it is generally less commonly used in office buildings due to speed restrictions and is more commonly used in amusement parks, construction sites, scenic spots, and other scenarios. It can be integrated with the ticketing system and used in the above scenarios to improve safety management efficiency.
(1) Advantages: One person, one pole anti tailgating, not easy to evade tickets, push rod passage, convenient to use.
(2) Disadvantages: Mainly used for pedestrian channel management, the channel is narrow, large in size or slow for people with luggage to pass through.
2、 Swing gate
Swing gate is a set of channels composed of two chassis, and sometimes one chassis and one swing gate can be used to form a channel according to requirements. The customization of channel width is relatively broad, with a conventional channel width of 0.5-0.65m and a special channel width of 1.2m or more. The wide channel design is generally used for VIP channels in office building halls, for welcome functions and freight transportation. The appearance has strong plasticity, so the shape is relatively rich. And there are different models for indoor and outdoor use, meeting the needs of different users and occasions.
(1) Advantages: The channel width adjustment range is large, which can be used for non motorized vehicle passage, as well as for children and the elderly, and is suitable for a wide range of people.
(2) Disadvantage: The cost of construction is relatively high compared to three roller gates.
3、 Wing Lock
The wing gate is generally composed of two chassis forming a channel with a width of about 0.55m. It can be customized according to needs and is suitable for entry and exit. It is used for one-way or two-way personnel control, with fast passage speed and improved passage efficiency. It is mainly used in crowded and high-frequency entry and exit situations, such as subway, high-speed rail and other rail transit situations, as well as scenic spots with high daily pedestrian flow. It has the characteristics of fast opening and closing, safety, and convenience, and is also a type of entrance with more choices for office buildings and smart parks.
(1) Advantages: Fast access is closed, greatly improving traffic speed.
(2) Disadvantages: Compared to three roller gates, the cost is higher and it is not easy for children to pass alone.
