A parking lot refers to a place for parking vehicles. Parking lots can be divided into four categories: warm garages, cold room garages, carports and open-air parking lots. The main task of a parking lot is to keep parked vehicles.
A parking lot system refers to an automatic identification device installed at the entrance and exit of a parking area based on modern electronic and information technology. It uses contactless cards or license plate recognition to implement intelligent management such as judgment, recognition, admission/rejection, guidance, recording, charging, and release of vehicles entering and leaving this area. Its purpose is to effectively control the entry and exit of vehicles and personnel, record all detailed information and automatically calculate the amount of charges, and realize the safe management of vehicles and charges in the field.

The parking lot system integrates inductive smart card technology, computer networks, video surveillance, image recognition and processing, and automatic control technology to automatically manage vehicles in the parking lot, including vehicle identity judgment, access control, automatic license plate recognition, parking space retrieval, parking space guidance, meeting reminder, image display, vehicle model calibration, time calculation, fee collection and verification, voice intercom, automatic card retrieval, and other scientific and effective operations. These functions can be flexibly deleted or added according to user needs and actual site conditions to form luxury, standard, and economical parking management systems and vehicle control systems of different scales and levels.


Workflow
Entrance part
The entrance part is mainly composed of the entrance ticket box (containing an inductive ID card reader, an automatic card dispenser, a vehicle sensor, a voice prompt system, a voice intercom system), an automatic road gate, a vehicle detection coil, an entrance camera system, etc.
When a temporary vehicle enters the parking lot, the system detects the vehicle, and the voice prompts the driver to take the card. The Chinese character display automatically displays the number of remaining parking spaces in the parking lot. The driver presses a button, and the card issuer in the ticket box sends an ID card, which is transmitted to the card outlet of the entrance ticket box through the card input movement, and the card is read at the same time. After the driver takes the card, the automatic road gate opens the barrier to release the vehicle, and the image system automatically records an image of the vehicle entering the parking lot on the computer, plays a welcome speech, and releases the vehicle.
When a monthly card vehicle enters the parking lot, the system detects and prompts the driver to pass the monthly card within the distance of the entrance ticket box sensing area to determine the validity (monthly card validity period, card type, card number legitimacy). If valid, the subsequent process is the same as that of a temporary vehicle.
When a special card vehicle enters the parking lot, the vehicle detection coil under the lane detects the vehicle, and the ticket box at the entrance voice prompts the driver to read the card. The driver passes the special card within the distance of the entrance ticket box sensing area. The ID card reader in the entrance ticket box reads the characteristics and related information of the card to determine its validity (referring to the special card validity period, card type, card number legitimacy). The subsequent process is the same as that of a monthly rental vehicle.


Exit section
The main exit section of the community is mainly composed of the exit ticket box (containing an inductive ID card reader, voice prompt system, voice intercom system), automatic road gate, vehicle detection coil, exit camera system, etc.
When a temporary vehicle exits the parking lot, the driver hands the contactless ID card to the toll collector at the exit. The driver passes the monthly rental card within the sensing distance of the exit ticket box sensor. The toll collection computer automatically calculates the payable fee based on the ID card record information and prompts the driver to pay. At the same time, the system automatically displays the image of the vehicle entering the parking lot. After the toll collector confirms that it is correct, he charges the fee and presses the confirmation button. The image system automatically records an image of the vehicle exiting the parking lot on the computer. The voice system prompts "Thank you, and I wish you a safe journey!" and other sounds, and the electric barrier rises. After the vehicle passes the vehicle detection coil buried under the lane, the electric barrier automatically falls.
When a monthly rental card vehicle leaves the parking lot, the driver passes the monthly rental card within the sensing distance of the exit ticket box sensor. The ID card reader in the exit ticket box reads the card's features and related ID card information to determine its validity. At the same time, the system automatically displays the vehicle's entry image. If the valid image is consistent with the automatically recorded image of the entry, the voice system prompts "Thank you, I wish you a safe journey!" and other sounds, and the automatic road gate opens the barrier to release the vehicle. After the vehicle sensor detects that the vehicle has passed, the barrier automatically falls; if it is invalid, an alarm is triggered and release is not allowed.
When a special card vehicle leaves the parking lot, the driver passes the monthly rental card within the sensing distance of the exit ticket box sensor. The ID card reader in the exit ticket box reads the card's features and related ID card information to determine its validity. Release is not allowed.


Toll control
The equipment at the toll control office consists of a toll control computer, UPS, report printer, operating console, entrance manual button, exit manual button, voice prompt system, and voice intercom system.
The operator is responsible for managing and charging temporary cards, monthly cards, and special cards through the charging control computer. The image comparison and recognition function reduces the recognition and reading and writing time of vehicle models and license plates, and increases the speed of vehicle flow in and out. Image comparison is used in conjunction with ID cards to completely prevent theft of vehicles. The images of entry and exit are archived to prevent false reports of free vehicles. "One car, one card": strictly control the behavior of cardholders entering and exiting the parking lot. , intelligently manage the entrances and exits, and is also responsible for sending corresponding control signals to the report printer, while completing the functions of parking lot data collection and downloading, query and print reports, statistical analysis, system maintenance, and monthly card issuance.
Entrance manual button, exit manual button
Mainly for intelligent control of the entrance and exit gates, can perform three functions: lift the gate, release the gate, and stop. Voice prompt system, voice intercom system as long as the communication between the operator and the driver and friendly prompts when charging. Make the system's service functions more comprehensive.
As early as 2004, Bluetooth parking lots have been launched in inland China. Bluetooth parking system, fast card reading speed, long card reading distance, good directionality, controllable card reading distance (1-5 meters, 5-10 meters, 10-20 meters adjustable). Card reading can be performed without stopping at a speed of 10-60 kilometers per hour.
The entry and exit workflow of the parking system is as follows:
When entering the site, the driver drives to the entrance control machine. If it is a fixed card user, you can enter and exit directly by swiping the card. For long-distance cards, the card is read immediately after entering the card reading range without swiping the card. After the fixed card is read, the system will determine whether there is enough balance within the limited period, and whether there is a record of not leaving the parking lot. If the above conditions are met, the gate will be opened to release, otherwise the voice prompt will not release.

When entering the site, if it is a temporary card, the driver will take the card himself, the gate will be opened, and the vehicle will pass.

When leaving the site, the fixed card can be swiped directly to enter and exit.

When leaving the site, the temporary card, the toll collector will charge the fee and then open the gate to release.

Whether the vehicle is entering or exiting, the camera takes a photo and saves it as a record at the moment the barrier is opened.

After the vehicle passes through the barrier, the barrier automatically drops.
