How Does Elevator Access Control System Work?

Elevator access control system limits which floors passengers can reach inside a building. It connects access controllers with elevator panel relays. Users can only select authorized floors after identity verification, such as swiping RFID cards, entering passwords or fingerprint recognition.

When a credential is validated, the controller unlocks the corresponding floor button. Without valid permission, the elevator buttons remain inactive, preventing unauthorized access to restricted floors.
