The security gate, also known as the metal detection gate, is designed to detect whether a person is carrying metal items hidden on their body. The working principle of a security checkpoint is similar to that of a handheld metal detector. It is generated by a crystal oscillator with a sine wave of 3.5-4.95M, which is divided into a sine wave of about 7.6K by a frequency divider. After power amplification by a transistor and coil, it is input into the large coil of the door panel (zone 7) for electromagnetic wave emission, and received by the coils in zones 1-6 inside the door. After receiving, the received signal was compared with the reference signal. If any changes were found, the output level of the acquisition card was changed. The CPU scanned the data from six acquisition cards within 280 milliseconds to determine the location of the metal and output the display. When a person or object passing through the security checkpoint has a metallic substance, an alarm will sound, emitting a piercing beep sound, indicating the presence of a metallic object.
Is there radiation at the security checkpoint?
Saying it's not true, as long as it's an electronic product, it will produce radiation. The key is whether the radiation is significant or not? The radiation from security checkpoints is much lower than that from computers and LCD displays, so there is no need to worry about radiation issues.
