RFID card wing turnstile gate system, also known as RFID flap barrier gate, is a popular pedestrian access control turnstile. It integrates RFID card reader with wing/flap barriers to manage authorized pedestrian entry and exit.

Users simply swipe valid RFID IC cards on the reader. Once the card credential is verified by the access controller, the wing flaps will automatically open to allow passage. After a person passes through, the wings close immediately. The built-in infrared sensor detects tailgating and triggers alarms to prevent unauthorized people from following in.
