Wing turnstile gate, also widely known as flap barrier gate, is a popular modern pedestrian access control turnstile. It has a neat, slim profile and elegant visual design, widely used in high-end commercial and institutional premises.

The main body is a vertical cabinet, usually made of brushed stainless steel. The wing flaps can be transparent acrylic or solid panels in different colors. When idle, the wings stay closed to block passage. Once access is approved, the flaps retract or swing inward quickly to allow people to pass.
