Tripod turnstile gate controlled by charging system is a self-service access turnstile that combines payment collection and tripod barrier access control. Users must complete payment before the turnstile releases permission to pass.

The integrated charging/payment system supports multiple payment methods such as coins, QR codes or prepaid cards. When the user finishes payment, the system sends a signal to the turnstile controller. The tripod arms unlock for one-time passage. After the pedestrian walks through, the tripod resets and locks automatically for the next user.
