Usually mounted above aisles, lane junctions or ramp entrances in underground garages, it converts raw parking‑bay occupancy data into readable numbers and directional arrows for drivers. While parking detectors collect bay status and controllers process data, indoor LED displays deliver the final user‑facing guidance information.
Following Sintronic's mature three‑tier architecture: Parking Detector → Node Controller → Central Controller → Indoor LED Display. The display receives processed zone‑level data and refreshes visual content in real‑time. Full workflow is shown below:
1. Receive processed parking data via RS485 bus
Indoor LED display communicates with node controller or central controller over industrial RS485 bus. It does not collect raw sensor data directly. Instead, it receives pre‑calculated zone vacancy numbers and direction commands from upper‑layer controllers. This design reduces network load and guarantees stable performance for large‑size parking lots.
2. Data parsing & visual rendering
Built‑in microcontroller parses incoming commands, then drives high‑brightness LED modules to show two core information:
Numeric value: Real‑time quantity of available parking spaces for each zone / aisle.
Directional arrows: Left, right or straight‑ahead arrows to point drivers toward vacant‑space zones.
Different screen models support 1‑way, 2‑way or 3‑way arrow outputs according to garage lane layout. The characters remain clearly visible even under dim underground parking lighting environment.
3. Real‑time automatic content refresh
Whenever cars park in or leave bays, parking detectors report status changes upward. After data calculation by node and central controller, updated vacancy figures are pushed to every related indoor LED display. The screen updates numbers and arrows automatically, without any manual operation by parking staff.
4. Offline fail‑over operation
When communication with central controller is lost, the display can still receive local data from its connected node controller. It keeps showing zone vacancy information, so local‑area parking guidance will not stop completely.

Sintronic provides multiple form‑factors to match different parking‑lot layouts:
One‑way indoor LED display: Single‑direction arrow + vacancy count, used for straight aisle guidance.
Two‑way indoor LED display: Left‑right dual‑arrow screen, installed at simple T‑shaped lane junctions.
Three‑way indoor LED display: Left / straight / right triple arrows, applied for complex multi‑branch intersections in large multi‑floor garages.
