The parking guidance system consists of three parts: data acquisition system, central processing system, and output display system.

Data collection system:

1. Each vehicle is equipped with an ultrasonic probe directly above it, and 8 probes are connected to a probe controller via RS485 bus or can be transmitted wirelessly via radio frequency.

2. The probe controller summarizes and processes the collected parking status information through the RS485 bus, and then connects it to the collection terminal through another RS485 bus. Based on the collected parking space information, the probe controller can also control the parking space lighting and status lights.

3. The collection terminal transmits the parking information collected by each probe controller to the data processing center through the CAN bus.

4. The data processing center transmits the collected data in real-time to the PC for management through a serial port (RS485 bus). Then the computer processes and calculates the parking space information. The data processing center can also transmit information to the collection terminal through the CAN bus, and the collection terminal can wirelessly or wired transmit it to the nearby vacant parking space display board to instruct the driver to choose the driving route.

Central processing system:

Its function is to analyze the collected data and display it on the corresponding output device.

1. You can use a PC to manage data and publish system related data through a local area network or wide area network.

2. Connect the GSM wireless MODEM to the data processing center and send or receive relevant data to the urban parking guidance system control center.

3. Parking data release: LED indicator screens are mainly installed on the collection terminal, which are installed at the entrance of the parking lot or traffic fork to indicate the direction of travel and the number of empty cars.

5. When vehicles enter a specific area of the parking lot, parking space indicator lights are installed, and parking space indicator lights connected to ultrasonic probes are installed in front of the parking lot to guide parking passengers to park in specific parking spaces.

Output display system:

The system includes a display and a guide board. The working principle of this system is to collect real-time parking space data in the parking lot through a parking space detector. The system collects relevant information about parking spaces in the parking lot and sends the information to the central processing system through a data transmission network according to certain rules. After analysis and processing by the central processing system, the relevant processing data is sent to the parking lot through output devices and provided to various signs, directional signs, etc., guiding vehicles to enter the relevant parking spaces. The system provides a data query interface for parking space information.
